How long does it take to send an invoice?
First time about five minutes because you enter your company details and your first client. After that under two minutes — just describe the work, pick the client, send.
Can I send invoices to foreign clients?
Yes. Pick the language per client (Dutch or English), and the right VAT rules are applied (e.g. 0% for services within the EU under reverse charge, or for non-EU clients). FactuurSturen adds the right note at the bottom of the invoice.
What is in the email with the invoice?
A short, polite cover note with invoice number, total, and payment terms. The invoice is attached as PDF. You can customize the default text or add a personal note per invoice.
Can I see the invoice before sending it?
Yes. Before sending you see a PDF preview exactly as your client will receive it. Something off? Adjust or save as draft.
What if my client doesn't receive the invoice?
You see in FactuurSturen when the invoice was opened. Not opened after a few days? Resend with one click. Often it's a spam filter — a friendly note to your client usually fixes it.
Can I schedule invoices for later?
Yes. Prepare the invoice and pick a send date. FactuurSturen sends it automatically that day. Handy for subscriptions, recurring clients, or if you don't want to email about Friday's work on Monday morning.
Do I get notified when my client pays?
Yes. You get a notification as soon as your client pays. And in your dashboard you see immediately which invoices are open, paid, or overdue.
