Applicability
These terms apply to all use of FactuurSturen, a software product offered by Tynka, based in the Netherlands. By creating an account or using FactuurSturen, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What FactuurSturen does
FactuurSturen is a web-based invoicing tool that lets freelancers and small businesses create professional invoices, send them by email, and track payment status. It includes automatic payment reminders, invoice corrections, a client list, and a products and services list. FactuurSturen is not accounting software. It doesn't do bookkeeping, VAT returns, or financial reporting.
Your account
To use FactuurSturen, you need an account with a valid email address. You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has access to your account, let us know right away.
How you may use FactuurSturen
You may only use FactuurSturen for lawful purposes. You must not use it to send unsolicited messages, to process data you're not allowed to handle, or in any way that breaks the law including GDPR. Tynka can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Credits and billing
FactuurSturen works with a credit system. One credit is used each time you send an invoice by email. Creating draft invoices is free. Your subscription plan includes a monthly credit allowance. If you go over, extra credits are billed automatically in bundles at the rate for your plan. Payments go through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the billing period. Unused credits don't carry over.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for unused credits or partial billing periods, except where required by law.
Your data and privacy
Your use of FactuurSturen is also covered by our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to process your clients' personal data when you use FactuurSturen to send invoices.
Intellectual property
FactuurSturen and everything associated with it — software, design, content — belongs to Tynka. You get a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of it.
Availability
We do our best to keep FactuurSturen running at all times, but we can't guarantee it's always available. Maintenance, technical issues, or things outside our control may cause temporary downtime. We'll communicate planned maintenance where we can.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Tynka is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of FactuurSturen, including missed payments or data loss. Our total liability to you won't exceed what you paid for the service in the three months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
Tynka can update these terms at any time. Changes are published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of FactuurSturen after changes are published means you accept the updated terms. We'll notify registered users of significant changes by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of FactuurSturen fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.
