Is FactuurSturen accounting software?
No. FactuurSturen is not accounting software. You can't use it to prepare annual accounts, file VAT returns, or produce a balance sheet. It does one thing well: create, send, and track invoices.
How is it different from Moneybird, WeFact, or similar tools?
Those tools are built for accountants and business owners who want a full bookkeeping system. FactuurSturen is deliberately simpler and cheaper. No journal entries, no chart of accounts, no features you'll never use. Just invoicing. Moneybird starts at €15 per month, WeFact at €6.95, Rompslomp at €7.95. FactuurSturen starts at €2 per month.

Do I still need an accountant?
That depends on your situation. FactuurSturen doesn't replace your accountant. It makes the invoicing process simpler so you spend less time on admin. Your accountant can work with the invoices you create in FactuurSturen without any issues.
Can I send invoices in English?
Yes. FactuurSturen supports multilingual invoices. You can set per client whether the invoice is sent in Dutch or English.
